Users required instant image conversion and compression without transmitting sensitive photos or heavy files over slow connections.

Browser Memory & Main Thread Blocking

Processing dozens of high-resolution images simultaneously risked freezing the UI thread and exceeding browser memory limits.

Large Batch Streaming ZIP Downloads

Creating zip archives for hundreds of converted images in browser memory caused out-of-memory crashes on mobile devices.

WASM Engine & Multi-Thread Architecture

Integrated @jsquash WebAssembly codecs and built a dynamic hardware-concurrency Web Worker pool with Transferable Object buffers.

  • Pre-initialized Web Worker pool auto-scaled up to 6 threads
  • Zero-copy ArrayBuffer transfers using postMessage transferables
  • OffscreenCanvas and Pica integration for high-fidelity resizing

Memory Safeguards & StreamSaver ZIP Engine

Designed memory lifecycles, garbage collection rules, and dual-strategy batch downloading using JSZip and StreamSaver.js.

  • Automatic fallback to StreamSaver for batches exceeding 200MB
  • Session memory tracking with active 500MB safety threshold
  • Instant ObjectURL revocation upon file removal or ZIP completion

Laravel 13 SEO & High-Intent UI Launch

Combined React 19 interactive controls with Laravel 13 server-side SEO pages for format-specific traffic landing pages.

  • Dynamic SEO tool routes (/convert/jpg-to-png, /convert/png-to-webp)
